Interest rates are going up again and the Rudd Labor goverment has been quick to point the finger at the out going liberal party. Families are to some extent hurting and loan forclosures are on the rise, rental properties are scarse and the ones that are available are expensive. Australia is having a housing crisis and opinion on the solution is divided, this does not help the growing number of Australians being forced to sell the family home. Does the new goverment have what it takes to sort out this mess? The best advice they can offer us so far is to “shop around” which is a band aid solution at best.
