Buderim is more expensive but you can still find properties in the $300,000 range if you take the time to search around. Mooloolaba offers a lot of holiday units and luxury accomadation and great access to the beaches and cafe scene. Noosa to the north of the Sunshine Coast is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Australia and has amazing beaches and cafes, you will also find multi million dollar homes as good as anywhere in Australia. On the southern end of the coast you will find Caloundra  an area very popular with weekenders from Brisbane.

Maroochydore QLD Real Estate - Maroochydore is the hub of the Sunshine Coast Queensland and is situated about 45 minutes drive to the north of Brisbane and is just 25 mins to the south of Noosa. Maroochdore has some amazing waterfront properties along the Maroochy river and along the beach at Alexandra Headlands. Maroochdore CBD is just 5 minutes drive to Mooloolaba and it’s amazing beaches. Investment prospects are very good in the area due to population growth and strong housing demand. Maroochydore is in fact one of the more affordable areas on the Sunshine Coast, with access to schools, beaches and shopping at the Sunshine Plaza. Expect to pay upwards of $300,000 for houses, units will be cheaper than both Buderim and Alexandra headland.
